Made for the sun, full of life
SunKachina is a sacred figure in Hopi culture. It embodies the energy and power of the sun and is credited with the ability to bring light, warmth, and life to the Earth. The light that SunKachina projects reminds us of the way Satori reads and guides our hearts. Though they come from different sources, they both converge in the light they radiate.
Project Inspiration
The Hopi, an indigenous tribe of Arizona, carried the sacred duty of protecting Earth and its beings, embodying peace, kindness, and truth. Their message: by reconnecting with our essence and following our hearts, we can unlock a paradise. At Satorisan, we share this belief, inspiring the world to live by the heart, with humility and respect for people and the planet.
Project Fundamentals
We are committed to caring for you—starting with your feet. SunKachina was born from the idea of a sandal that mimics walking barefoot, ensuring flexibility, breathability, and grip. Remove the removable insole and feel how flexible and lightweight Kawahu is, perfect for travelling!

Details that make the difference

Colorful Details
This Kwahu model features vibrant laces to add a fun and modern touch. It also includes a premium leather piece on the eyelet.
Premium materials and textures
We’ve reinforced the heel with matching suede leather to make it more durable and premium without losing its vintage style. The removable insole is also lined with suede to make contact with the skin soft and comfortable.
Decorated Tongue
For this Kwahu model, we've added suede fringes to the tongue, inspired by the craftsmanship of the indigenous tribes of northeastern Arizona. The main fabric, a fresh and lightweight blend of linen and cotton, lets your feet breathe and adds a natural texture, perfect for the warmer months. Finally, we’ve reinforced the toe with suede leather to make it more durable.
