 Kiowa is a handcrafted construction that goes way back to the beginning of footwear. A piece of leather surrounds the foot from the sole to the instep, then is joined to the tongue completely by handcrafted stitching. This creates a characteristic "u" shaped crest seam of the instep.

Creating shoes like this creates high levels of flexibility and reduces waste by removing the cardboard sole and glueing process in the forefoot area. It also keeps your foot wrapped in a layer of natural leather, to increase comfort and reduce perspiration.
